I am totally loving this book my mom got me for my 16th birthday… I stayed up too late reading it last night. 😜 It is sooo good! Hoping to have a better post up about it soon.

A really great book! Thank you for sharing it with me! I thought I’d come here to share my thoughts on it, but if you don’t like my thoughts you may delete them. 🙂
If I could go back in time and tell my teenage self a few things, it would include the stuff in that book. I think I had a decent grasp of some of the concepts even as a teen, but one I really struggled with was the body image/discontent with looks, etc. (okay, I haven’t totally overcome it… ). Oh my…if I could have THAT me back now!! I’d feel like a movie star! LOL ok, not quite. 😀 But seriously…I fretted over the fact that I weighed between 125-130, and my friends went on a diet if the scales crept over 109 (smh!).
Please believe me when I say that the “imperfections” you may worry about aren’t even noticeable to other people!!! You are a VERY lovely young lady, in many ways, and that definitely includes your outward appearance. Believe it, embrace it, thank God for it! 🙂 And you don’t dress strangely, however you got that idea. lol. I appreciate that you dress modestly, but it’s still cute. You don’t look frumpy or plain jane. 🙂 You’re a beautiful daughter of the King! ❤
